Family Update

So I'm finally going to try this blog stuff out. I'm a little slow I know. Anyways a little update on Bowdee first. He is already 5 weeks old as of yesterday. Which completely scares me! Time does fly Rachelle's post is so true. He is doing so good. He went to Dr. Oveson on Monday for a little check up and he is already 5lbs 13oz. Still tiny compared to what we were used to after Brooke and Callie but hard to believe thats a full 2lb gain from when he was born. He is so much fun tho. The girls can't stand to leave him alone. The poor little guy gets a million kisses a day and they love to have him hold their fingers. It's pretty sweet. I keep having to chase them into my room to make sure they aren't trying to pick Bowdee up out of his bed. I catch them constantly in there "checking on him". They're great big sisters! Little Brookie has fessed up to Grandma Barbara tho that the other night she snuck in our room in the middle of the night and picked Bowdee up and held him. She of course made Grandma pinkie swear not to tell but we somehow found out. She thinks she is so big! I'm still trying to figure out how to get things done and keep him safe the mauling of the big sisters. It's a challenge.

Bowdee so far has been a pretty good little guy. He mostly just eats and sleeps. We did have a rough couple nights. I had fed him and put him to bed Monday night then got everyone else tucked in. I went to get in bed myself and my little man was wide awake just looking around. It was so cute but about 3 am when he was still wide awake I started to worry that this might become a new trend. It was a long night. Tuesday night, same thing. So I decided that he had the days and nights mixed up. Hopefully thats over now tho cause last night was much better.

The other day I was nursing Bowdee and Callie came to "check on him" and she giggles and is like "Mom Bowdee's sucking on you!" It was so funny! The girls have had some pretty good lessons the last little while. I try to keep them away when I'm feeding him but they can't stand it. Also my little Cal has been wanting a sippy cup with milk and me to rock her in the rocking chair with her blankies the last few nights. I think there may be a little bit of jealousy issues going on.

Grandma Gaye and Grandpa Wally came by today to peek at Bowdee thru the window. She was so cute. She had a little gift bag for Bowdee but inside there were also little gifts wrapped up for Brooke and Callie which they were so excited about! Gotta love Grams and Gramps!

As for Brooke she is as dramatic as ever. She told me and Seth the other night that she had broke up with all her boyfriends, but today she informed me that she was teasing us she "still has Kaleb, Austin, back with him, and Payton." Just 3 she says! She also is about to lose her 2nd tooth which she is excited about. She still LOVES school because it is the best place ever. She is already sick of being home with me she just wants to go to Grandma's and play. She says it's not so fun at home. She loves her baby brother. (She is now telling me what to say about her.)

Callie is still our little wild child. She still wants to fight Seth all the time and, yes, she still "Hurts people." She is growing up and I'm not sure if I like it. Her birthday is almost here. She is so excited. I have no idea what to get her. She only wants a baby with a carseat which we already have at least 3 car seats and 45 baby dolls. Oh well, whats one more. Other than that she is just same old little stinker Callie Jo. She is too much fun!

As for me and Seth we could still use a vacation. It's been awhile but we love our little family. It feels complete now. We couldn't be happier.

That's all for now. I promise the next post will be much shorter.
(BTW I told Brookie what I said about her and now she is trying so hard to pull her tooth!)
