Hospitals aren't so bad...just ask Callie!!
They sent me this picture Saturday morning. Seth slept there with her so I could feed Bowdee.

Callie enjoying all the gifts...

and the food!

And Grandma Cheryl brought her some chicken nuggets and fries since she didn't like the hospital dinner

She colored for hours!

And this one shows how her little attitude was the whole hospital stay!

A Night of Stars

My "Rock Star" Brooke
The girls had the dance review Friday night! They did great! Cutest dancers there I would say. Of course little Callie got admitted to the hospital just 3 hours before the performance. Every time I looked at her and Addie's cute little class I felt so bad, but she, in true Callie fashion, could care less that she missed it!
Addison and Brooke

I can't believe my camera actually got a clear shot from so far away. I'm hoping Tessa and Chad got better pictures than I did.

Brooke ready for the Fairy Dance

Addison as Snow White and Brooke as a Fairy. Like her sparkles?? Oops, I mean fairy dust??
I'm kicking myself for not getting any pictures of Callie in the hospital. We only have cell phone pictures and I might have to figure out how to post them cause they are so funny. I wish she could have been at the dance review. I know that all 3 of these cute girls worked so hard all year, and they LOVED dance and all of our crazy Tuesdays! Good job girls!

UPDATE....

Last night on the way home from mom's Callie told me in her grumpy little demanding voice "I want to go back to the hospital right now!" It's official, she was too spoiled there.

The Hospital, Our Other Home This Year....

Callie has been fighting a nasty sickness that won't go away. Since just after Easter she has been sick. She started with just cold like symptoms. Brooke had the same thing and was completely fine within about a week. Callie wasn't so lucky. She woke up on May 5th at about 1 in the morning and was burning up, her whole body shaking, and just crying cause she felt so lousy. I took her to the ER and they diagnosed her with pneumonia. She did antibiotics for 10 days. She was totally better. I took her in for a follow up visit  on the 17th and she was great. Lungs sounded clear, no fever, everything was great.

The next morning she wakes up fevering again and throwing up. She went and did a strep test which was negative but Dr. Oveson put her on another antibiotic anyway. She was so funny with the strep test. She had to do one in the ER so she knew what was coming. The little stinker was asleep when we went in for it....or so I thought. She was totally faking asleep so she wouldn't have to do it. I was like Callie you have to wake up and she wouldn't. All the sudden I'm like "Callie are you faking?" and they little monster pops her eyes open. If you've ever seen Callie fake sleep, she's great at it! You cannot tell. So funny!

Thursday night she was going back and forth between fever and cold sweat. Friday morning same thing. I went to work and mentioned to Molly, Dr. Oveson's nurse, that she was still fevering and they thought I better bring her in for a quick chest x-ray and lab work. They call us back to see Dr. Oveson and he tells me that it's really bad pneumonia and we need to admit her to the hospital right then. I was completely shocked. She was basically dancing around the room as he is telling me how she's so sick she needs to be admitted??? So we took her down to the hospital and they started her on IV antibiotics. She literally was doing rollovers in her hospital bed... you would never think she should be in the hospital. So funny! She spent 2 nights in there and came home this afternoon. She was the funniest little patient. She was all over the place. Not a normal sick kid. She was very demanding too. I asked the nurse if she could get a sprite please and little Cal looks over her shoulder and is like "with ice!!" I was shocked. I'm like use your manners. She said she likes being in the hospital cause people bring her presents. She had to miss her dance review Friday night but it doesn't seem to bother her at all. She could care less. Seth spent the nights with her and I spent the days. And Grandpa Terry lucked out and spent the Dance Review with her. This morning before she left the nurse came in and took her vitals and drew blood and she slept right through it. She's a tough little bugger. She's still doing good. You never would have known she was sick, I wasn't even going to take her in. Good thing Molly asked about her.  Now she will do another round of oral antibiotics and then a repeat x-ray Thursday or Friday to make sure her lungs are clearing up.

Seth and I think we have had more than our share of hospitals for this year. We prefer our own beds and all our kids home with us. So far this year I spent almost a week, Bowdee spent 31 days, and Callie spent 3 days as inpatients, and it's only May. I think we should be done for the year! (knock on wood). Thanks to all our family for all your help. We appreciate it more than you know and love that we can always count on our family. Also thanks for spoiling Callie, she loved it so much I wasn't totally sure she wanted to come home.

Our New Toy

So Seth spoiled the girls and bought them a trampoline! They are loving it! We got it all set up Sunday and they were on it all day. Monday morning they had snuck out of the house to jump 3 time by 10:00. It's been pretty fun! Brooke has been trying hard to plan a party so her "friends" (Addie and Kayslee) can come jump on it with her and Callie! So when, or should I say if, we ever get well at our house, there will be a jump party!

This last picture makes me sad. The girls are soon going to be as tall as me. I can't believe how big my babies are getting. : (

Playing Catch Up...

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day and even tho I know we have our share of craziness I LOVE being a mom to these three little buggers!! I was so excited to finally get a good picture of me with all 3 of them too!

Callie had her last day of Preschool for the year. They got to walk to the park and have a picnic!

Seth had to go to Salt Lake for training all week. He left Sunday afternoon and got home Friday afternoon. That's why I am just now getting a chance to blog. It was good for me because I remembered how much he helps me. Between the kids, the house, the outside chores, school, dance, homework, cooking and everything else I also got sick. The girls were sick last week and I had to take Callie to the ER from 1 to 4 in the morning last Wednesday. She had pneumonia. Then they got better and I got it. Now Bowdee's getting sick too. I took him to the Dr. today and they swabbed him for RSV which thank goodness was negative. Hopefully he gets over it quick. It was a long week and I am soooo glad Seth is back!!!

Thursday I tried to get as much done as I could before Seth got home so he could help me with the kids instead of mowing the lawn and everything else I knew he would have to do. I wanted to wash the cars so the girls were well entertained with washing their bikes and stuff. They had so much fun!

Bowdee hung out in his chair in the garage. He's started snuggling with his blankets and stuff, it's so cute!! By the way when I took him to the Dr. today he weighed in at a whopping 10lbs 2ozs. Growing like crazy!!

Congrats to these little Graduates!!

Preschool Graduation was last night and they did so good! Rachelle got better pictures so hopefully she posts them but it was fun and thanks everyone who could come.

Callie with Addison, who has diploma in hand! Very proud girls!

Callie with Mrs. Kara Gardner

The next generation of TROUBLE!! A little scary, I know! Aunt Donna said this was like De Ja Vu. Kayson and Bowdee look just like Seth and Jason did when they were this size! It will be fun to see them grow up together! They should have been about 2 weeks apart but little Bowdee was too excited so he is about 2 and a half months older.

Branding Cows at Mills

Brooke, Qwade and Callie

Seth took the girls to brand cows this morning! They had so much fun and I wish I would have been there. (Bowdee and I were at the Dr.) Oh and Seth said Callie may have learned a few new words down there. Which may have been repeated later at home when Callie told Rugar to get out of the #^%@&!* house....maybe a mother should have been there this morning! haha Trust Callie I guess.

Callie was a little nervous...

After the work was done they took the kids fishing in the river.

Brooke didn't catch anything but here she is with Qwade's fish.

And here's Callie's big catch of the day! Way to go Cal!!

I'm glad they had fun and also I guess I'm glad I stayed home. To top off this crazy week I looked out my front window about noon today and my front yard was flooding. The bridge area was covered in about 4 inches of water! I grabbed my shoes and headed out to figure out what the heck was going on. Turns out the sewer system guys hit the irrigation pipe when they were digging last week so today when they turned the water on it bubbled up through the dirt...FAST and straight into our yard! It was kind of a mess. All the bark washed to the lawn and it was so muddy. I almost have it cleaned up just a little bark to gather up still. I am so glad we don't have a basement or we would have a real mess!!!

Brooke and Callie did a little photo shoot by themselves the other day!

Check out Callie's picture face...

Me and Tiff went Mother's Day shopping last night. We got home around 10 and this was how I found Brooke. All curled up in Bowdee's chair. Seth and Callie were both asleep on the couches.

Bowdee thinks Brooke and Callie are so funny! He mostly smiles just for them!

Sad how big he is already :(
